Most people in this world have gone through trauma, even if they don’t know it.

It’s not a competition, whose is worst an’ all that, but for me as my strapline has always been awareness is empowerment:

By being aware, I can look to help heal myself using whatever modality feels right in the situation, emotion, time.

At present, I am on rollercoaster of finding out more, both to help myself as well as my clients and their pets.

Yes, helping myself and clients with trauma actually really has helped me with working with pets with traumas too!!

I came across this video today which is quite interesting to watch. It in some ways links in with chakras but also offers its own different aspects too.

So, i thought I would share as others may find it really useful too.

I do find that with some clients however, what would be considered a ‘normal’ or ‘expected’ area where they may hold a specific trauma is not the case. I have had people hold trapped emotions and beliefs in their big toe. Now if we really want to get pedantic we could look up in reflexology what that relates to as there may well be a correlation to the organ or meridian that runs there, but I don’t always do that, I just work with it somatically and guide my client to release it.

Interestingly, I also do this with pets in a simlar way with animal communication, and guide them to release as well.

I have another part of this story to post, but today, enjoy the video instead!

I’ll share the part about why feet link to trauma another day! :D
