This year I got to volunteer for Made in Kent Radio at the Kent County Show.

I got to go and see different businesses and get them to promote themselves on the radio. In turn, I finally got to meet Joe from Cherry Tree Pet Crematorium, a company who I have a lot of time for with the incredible work that they do.

I got to give advice to a lady on one stall who walks dogs and is in a position where one doggie is going to lose their hu-mummy very soon and they wanted advice for the dog, which I gave.

I got to meet and thank other pet crematoriums (Country Pet Cremations based in Doddington, Kent) and home euthanasia services (Home to Rest founded by Dr Paul Gunning MRCVS), because I know how vital they are!

I got to see all the lovely animals there, heavy horses will be one I try to get to.

And to finish my evening off, I got to cuddle with Watermill Wolves. I could have literally stayed there all evening, they were so grounding, calming and peaceful.

If you are going to the show today I recommend you go to see the wolves.

Of course there is a lot more to do there, it will be hard to pack it in to one day! But enjoy it, if you are going.

I will be back tomorrow afternoon volunteering for the radio again and seeing how the referrals I built yesterday are going. It gets aired in the MIK studio as well as at the grounds, so worthwhile the businesses, especially local, doing it!

Here are the pics of the lovely wolves. Some are still very young. To have one of them, P, literally drag herself closer to me and then lay her head on my foot, was just so lovely I can’t really put the feeling into words!

These lads and lasses also work in the acting industry as well!

The whole team is very knowledgeable with regards to all aspects of their welfare and behaviour, and there were synchronicities with the whole team when i chatted with them on Saturday evening.

They do offer wolf experiences, so feel free to contact them to arrange that special session. They are based in Bexhill-on-Sea.
