So the last week and a bit I have been catsitting for these beauties. This was on the evening of day one.
Aren’t they gorgeous?
Apparently, when their parents got back yesterday, it didn’t look like they had missed them much, lol.

I often find when catsitting that there are certain things I pick up about them as we go through the time, as well as certain things I feel could enhance the relationship, the care of pets, the environment too. Nothing bad, just things I spot. It has happened every time I have cat sat for someone.
But most of our time was spent ensuring all their natural behaviours were covered, e.g. stalk and pounce (like prey) with interactive toys – this time I treated them to a rod toy to save my fingers, as claws and enthusiasm don’t mix well with flesh, and also I could tell every time they snagged me, and I withdrew my hand briefly, I know it got to them emotionally. So, this means we can play to our hearts content, I don’t get hurt accidentally, and they don’t feel bad.
The final day was interesting from a therapist side of things, but I’ll share that in another post. Today, you can just enjoy their beauty and peace in these photos.
